Tenuta di Artimino

Tenuta di Artimino, owned by the Olmo Family since 1989, has been producing wine and oil since the 18th century. The Estate stretches out over 700 hectares (1730 acres) in the Tuscany countryside and hosts the famous Medici Villa called “La Ferdinanda”.

The Villa, built in 1596, has been declared a UNESCO Heritage Site. Just nearby the Villa you will find the charming four-star Hotel “Paggeria Medicea” and the Restaurant “Biagio Pignatta” which offers a high level cuisine and a rich menu whose fresh ingredients are collected directly from the Villa vegetable garden. From the Estate it will take you just a short car ride to reach Florence and many other fascinating Tuscany art towns. The Estate itself looks out onto the Medieval hamlet of Artimino, with its typical small handicraft stores and the archaeological museum dedicated to the Etruscan culture.

Today the third generation – with Annabella Pascale and Francesco Sportono Olmo – has chosen to focus on sustainable and responsible agriculture, honoring this ancient history and centuries-old traditions.
